It is the most common of all involuntary movements and can affect the hands, arms, eyes, face, head, vocal folds, trunk, and legs.
Four motor symptoms are considered cardinal signs in PD: slowness of movement ( bradykinesia ), tremor, rigidity, and postural instability.
