    It looks like "bei mir" in the sense of "according to me", "in my opinion", "to my mind" is a Yiddish idiom that is not used in standard German. See בײַ, definition 5. However I wouldn't be surprised if "bei" is used in this sense in some German dialects. It is probably the origin of the American idiom "that's OK by me".
