Okay thanks. Its been a while since I've used MBAM since Windows 10 security does a fine job by itself. I had a friend say he downloaded MBAM and it side-loaded Avast, which is not correct, I just downloaded MBAM and you're right, only offers you to buy the paid version. I don't know where he got Avast from, but it wasn't MalwareBytes.
