Since the New York Times took over, they first removed a half-dozen of the words as potential solutions and then more recently gave "creative control" of the solution list to one of their staff.

I've been using your archived wordle and I love it!!! One request: on wordle there is ability to play using "hard mode" which requires player to use any revealed hints in subsequent guesses. ADIEU is VERY over-rated as a starting word. Instead, try SALET, CRANE, or ROATE. On the average, you will be left with 123.7 words remaining after you play ADIEU. Instead, use SALET (71.3) or CRANE (78.8) or ROATE (60.5) Always different starts. Lately I’m using “nature” words like copse or Marsh or xylem or acorn.

It's already comical enough to have "waqfs, vozhd, blunk, cimex, grypt", which consists completely of bizarre words that will never be a Wordle answer. CGoblinman will be disappointed to hear VIBEX will never be an answer word. The best you can do with 5 words from Wordle's answer list is 24 letters, e.g. "blitz, chump, fjord, gawky, seven".
