If they (Lipsey's) would produce a true reproduction of the GEN 1s with Tenifer slides and barrels and milled/forged internal components like they used to, they'd be unable to satisfy the demand even at the much higher price point that would be required.

  8. Winchester 94, what are the best years? | Glock Talk

    www.glocktalk.com/threads/winchester-94-what-are-the-best-years.1694145

I have a Winchester 94 that was made in 1972 and I can see no difference in overall quality and smoothness of operation between my brother's Pre-64 94 that he paid a lot of money for in the 1980's, and my Post-64 is in better condition and has nicer wood grain and better bluing. And it only cost about $ 300 dollars.

  9. Fanny pack carry? - Glock Talk

    www.glocktalk.com/threads/fanny-pack-carry.1372843

I like the Medium Bagmaster Ambidextrous Fanny Pack to carry my G19. It has a snap and loop (velcro). It looks smaller, lies flatter (doesn't stick out) and is easier to access (under stress of an attack) than zippered packs. Also. it doesn't flap over your legs when you open it to draw. The inside is an empty pouch.

  10. .308 - 147gr vs 150 gr vs 168 gr - Glock Talk

My experience is the same as Colorado's, longer bullets with polymer tips are the ticket. The 150-168 grain bullets have too much drag. The 175 A-max and the new SMK with a polymer tip will fly all the way to a grand, staying supersonic the whole way. That I could be wrong is an eventuality that has not escaped me.
