    If you bridge a single 4 ohm load you are asking each power amp to drive 2 ohms. Many pro sound reinforcement (public address) amps and bass guitar amps can do 2 ohms these days. Bottom line, two amps bridged can theoretically deliver 4X the power into a given load as one of the amps alone could deliver into the same load. Have a nice day.
