If I stick a bunch of these cards to a sheet of paper and run it through the printer, that can work, but I'd rather avoid the extra effort of mounting and un-mounting the cards on the paper. The problem is simply that the printer refuses to accept a paper size as small as 3.5" by 2.5". The smallest it will go is 3.5" by 5" (two cards side by side).

These show you appropriate boundaries for the bleed, the intended cut, and the "safe" area that is guaranteed to appear on the final cards even if registration is poor.
